Lunch on Joe Pool Lake

This is on the back deck of the Oasis Restaurant on Joe Pool Lake in South Grand Prairie, TX.  One of my favorite local getaways.  Had lunch with a friend the day after Christmas on a very unseasonably warm day.  More pics HERE.

My friend was visiting from Oregon, to which she had moved from Texas a few months before.  She was no longer impressed with any Texas rustic lake views after living in the country outside of Portland.
